A question about bad anime
If you’re some kind of nerd who goes to anime conventions, and you’re in the Southeast, you’ve probably seen a bad anime panel run by Daryl or a poser. They’re full of high quality insane sexist gekiga/action OVAs full of peoples’ heads exploding all over the place. But is that really the only genre of terrible anime? There are a few others I’ve seen – I guess Gundoh Musashi is shounen or something, and Valanoir is a moé game adaptation – but they’re all male oriented. What are the terrible girls’ shows I can show at panels? Someone enlighten me.

UPDATE: I forgot nobody else has seen Valanoir. It’s so good it doesn’t even have an ANN encyclopedia entry!

For really bad shoujo anime the best I can think of is Kimera (It has gay guys so it automatically counts) and the worst magical girl anime Wedding Peach.

I remember there’s some bad BL anime… Meine Liebe, I think? Bee Train shows can get pretty bad but might not be entertaining.
And there was some gay Mai Hime clone, might have had Crystal in the name. (not to be confused with Crystal Triangle)
That and Gonzo’s amazing Glass Fleet should cover it.

Weiss Kreuz is the classical example, I’d say, but a lot of people can find it in themselves to ACTUALLY LIKE that show.

Hang on, I thought the Shamwow wasn’t sold in stores? This must be one of those imitators they warned us about.
But seriously, Mars of Destruction was garbage if that helps.
