Perian 1.0: enabling the Macintosh anime folksonomy paradigm
While kransom’s off in the land of social dysfunction and technological paradise, I’ve, uh, not been doing anything.
But we did get this out.
Perian 1.0 adds to Quicktime:
* avi files (DivX, FRAPS, HuffYUV)
* flv (youtube/nicovideo)
* .srt subs
* mkv files!
The subtitle renderer is way better than VLC’s and on par with mplayer and VSFilter. I know ’cause I wrote it!
