A 2ch poster found some strangely familiar pictures in the reader-submitted art section of the evening edition of the Kyoto Shimbun. A second poster bought a copy to confirm, and pictures were posted!
A poster on 2ch noted that since yesterday, the business hotel that he works at was getting a lot of calls asking if they got TV Saitama, the first network to air Haruhi. I guess they did, because 4 hours later he reported that the hotel just got booked solid! Now that is devotion.
I noticed this morning that ANN has a perfectly good writeup of this so I’m just going to link to it and not say anything else, other than the observation that the JOKER editors really seem to be pushing this yandere stuff.
The 480-page book detailing the history of the children’s manga magazine, a formative part of my youth, and home to more toy tie-ins than you could imagine, will be released on the 29th. The book will feature many interviews with famous contributors to the magazine such as Fujiko Fujio (A).
