For those who forget easily, these are the K-ON Mio headphones that cost $700 $800 in Japan. The box with them on display says MIO HEADPHONES on them. The writer of the original article asked an employee if people have been buying them, to which he responded “I’ve found that there really are people who just throw that kind of money around. An exhibit of photographer Tatsuro Minohara’s work capturing the open streets of Akihabara on Sundays from 2005-2007 will open on 6/3 and run until the 14th, a period right around a year after the tragedy that took place there. There will also be polling regarding the reopening of hokoten (walker’s paradise, the opening of the street to pedestrians on Sunday). Admission is free, and the event will take place at Akihabara Art Jeuness

Apparently Gigazine called up TV Wakayama and asked about the new Haruhi episode. They responded “We were told not to print the episode subtitle but for some reason it was, and we’ll be taking it down shortly.” The timeslot is now just listed as “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.”
