A poster on 2ch noted that since yesterday, the business hotel that he works at was getting a lot of calls asking if they got TV Saitama, the first network to air Haruhi. I guess they did, because 4 hours later he reported that the hotel just got booked solid! Now that is devotion.

For those who forget easily, these are the K-ON Mio headphones that cost $700 $800 in Japan. The box with them on display says MIO HEADPHONES on them. The writer of the original article asked an employee if people have been buying them, to which he responded “I’ve found that there really are people who just throw that kind of money around.
