A maid-staffed beer garden, “Tenkuu Gofuu Maid in Beer TENKUU” (god what a good name) has opened on the rooftop of the Nishinippon Shimbun Kaikan in Fukuoka. They’re hoping that the maid and butler theme will suit the 400-seat beer garden better than the previous “Horror House” theme, somewhere to the tune of 200% increased sales. “Welcome home, goshujinsama” will bring us all out of this recession, I’m telling you. Just look at the guy in the blue shirt in the picture at the original link!

Maid in Beer TENKUU also has themed drinks (the vodka-based “Moe Hammer”) and food (tandoori chicken named “Oshioki! MAID PUNCH”. It’s all you can eat and drink for 3800 yen a man and 3500 a woman, so come hungry!
